Introducing the UNDYED ANTARCTICA PARKA from THE NORTH FACE. This cold weather jacket for polar expeditions is made of undyed materials and is designed for use in harsh environments in low-temperature polar regions such as those used by the Japanese Antarctic Research Expedition. This collection mainly uses materials that are not dyed, which is said to require the most water in the manufacturing process, and makes the most of the color of the material itself. The outer material is made of high-strength 150 denier polyester, and a GORE-TEX® membrane with excellent waterproof and breathable properties is inserted. It provides comfort even when working in strong winds such as blizzards. The padding is filled with Photoelectron® down, which provides excellent heat retention. It efficiently converts body heat into heat retention even in extremely low temperatures. The skin side is equipped with Pertex® Quantum, which has high tear strength. It is equipped with five zipper pockets that are convenient for storing small items. The length of the garment covers the buttocks, making it recommended as a cold weather garment for working in extremely cold areas or for astronomical observation. The left shoulder has an ANTARCTICA EXPEDITION patch.
